Best Barbershop In Burke VA

    Burke Barber has been my favorite barbershop in the Burke and Fairfax Station area for years. Long before I ever helped them with their marketing, I was a loyal customer, and I wanted them to stay in business and keep cutting my hair.  They had no online visibility, so I created a Google Business Profile, then gradually optimized the profile.  Burke Barber does not have a website, I worked with what we had.  We used a free Google profile website, and focused on their Google profile.  To improve the rank of Burke Barber I:

• Created and optimized their Google Business Profile

• Produced a 360° virtual tour of the shop

• Managed the profile consistently for about 3 years during COVID

Even without a website, Burke Barber was able to rank in the top 3 barbershops in Burke on Google, and is still ranking in the top 3. That meant when people searched for a barbershop nearby, Burke Barber showed up front and center. On Google Search the top 3 business profiles display on a map before any website results.  During the uncertainty of COVID, this visibility was critical — it kept new customers walking through the door and allowed the barbershop to continue serving its loyal community.

For me, this project highlighted the power of Google Business Profile optimization. With the right setup and consistent management, even a small, website-free local business can stay competitive and thrive. Burke Barber remained open during a challenging time, which meant I could still get the same great haircut I’d always counted on.
